For years I've struggled to find anything that works to clear the spots on my face.. yet 6 months ago I discovered ProActiv and it has literally worked wonders. My skin has never been so clear!
Problem is.. I went to order some more last night and they have ceased trading in the UK 😭😭😭
Does anybody know of an alternative.. something very similar that I can still get over here?

Hi OP - I tried the ABC routine from Tropic skincare range and it has worked wonders for my skin. IIRC it might be a bit more expensive than Proactive. Whether or not it works for you I couldn't guarantee as I also tried Proactive but something didnt agree with my skin as I developed a rash a few days after using it so I stopped using it.
There was a thread a few days ago (cant remember in what section) where the Bravura range was recommended. I haven't used it myself though.

Thank you for your reply!

I will have a look in to those two that you have mentioned and see if there are any similar ingredients.

I am absolutely gutted over the ProActiv when it's taken me so many years to find something 😫

Boots and amazon both still have stock of the three step kit if that’s any use.

I recommend temple spa products, they do a starter kit under £100 and should last 4 months. The way to go cleanser, mask, toner and moisturiser for oily skin are amazing. Sorted my skin right out.

Hi @ICantThinkOfOne13 I wondered if you'd found anything that worked? I too was a big fan of proactiv and have just gone to order some more :(

ICantThinkOfOne13 · 12/04/2020 22:56

@MrsDM
I switched to the Clinique Anti Blemish range.. and so far it's been ok. I flare up massively at my time of the month but on the whole I'd say it's been really similar to ProActiv.
It's a 3 step program as well.

Paul’s Choice is a good choice for sufferers of adult acne. They have just started stocking it at SpaceNK.
