Best and worst-dressed at the Golden Globe Awards?

Who gets your vote? There are several contenders for best-dressed, though I liked the old-fashioned glamour of Ana de Armas' look.

And worst-dressed has to be Gwyneth. I mean, WTF was she thinking? Still, at least she got noticed!

Jodie Comer’s dress seems to have been rehemmed in a hurry.

Don't know how to add a photo but I thought Olivia Colmans dress was way too top heavy - colour was lovely and bottom half was ok if the sleeves had been calmed down...

There were some shockers last night. Thing is, I think they do it precisely to make it into a worst-dressed list. It gets column inches. Publicity. So Gwyneth and JLo are being discussed today. Simple black dress and nobody would have noticed them.

I thought Olivia Colman and Jodie Comer looked equally bad. Also didn’t like Phoebe WB’s suit - or, I’m afraid, her hair!

Michelle Williams looked ridiculous, as did all the ones with the massive shoulder puffs.

Renée Zellwegger and Reese Witherspoon stood out as elegant to me.

Renée looks like she lives at the gym though, which I think is a sort of sad life.

Gwyneth did that purely to get in the papers. She’s like a toddler with their knickers on their head - best ignored.

Renee looked fine but she tends to wear the same thing over and over again to awards. You could tell me the photo of her was from 2006 and I'd believe you!

I thought J-Lo managed to look fabulous despite the weird dress. Gwyneth's was just plain awful.

Ana de Armas was the best dressed - Gwyneth and JLo both looked straight up bad.

I love looking at all the dresses during awards season. I can't say that anything caught my eye from last night, there were some really hideous dresses.
The ott puff sleeve look was certainly popular.

Nicole Kidman looked very elegant. I wish she'd go back to red hair though. The blonde just washes her out.

Priyanka Chopra looked stunning in pink but the dress didn't look very comfortable. And I'm trying to figure out if illusion netting played a part in Scarlett J's gown as I'm not sure how it stayed up otherwise!

J-Lo looked stunning from the neck up though, and those emeralds!

I think blonde is Nicole Kidman's natural colour.

There were some beautiful outfits. I liked the simplicity of Margot Robbie's.

@wowfudge no, she's a natural redhead. Though nowadays perhaps she's more grey than anything and blonde is easier to maintain.

I loved how Hellen Mirren and Dakota Fanning looked. Joey King looked fabulous too as did Jennifer Aniston, Anna de Armas and Nicole Kidman. Scarlet Johanson was so beautiful in red! Classic Hollywood.

I’m not sure about JLO.

Worst dressed: Salma Hayek (cleavage was too much - made her look cheap and vulgar).
Saoirse Ronan : cheap looking dress, did nothing for her body type.
Michelle Williams: dress looked plain horrible.
Gwyneth Paltrow: just a horrible attention seeking dress.

Hate Jodie Comer's dress - unless it's actually maternity wear?

I love Ana de Armas's dress. I am right in thinking it's covered in sequins?

Sienna Miller. She looked like she was wearing a bikini with a sarong around her waist

Gillian Anderson looked incredibly elegant.

Kaitlyn Dever (who I have never heard of) in a busy Valentino print, with pockets.
Charlize Theron in bright green was also good.

Jodie Comer’s was awful. She is so beautiful and yet that thing was just weird and wrong. I couldn’t see the back but it looked like it had a fin or something. But Gwyneth! Why did no one stop her?

Yes some terrible outfits last night. Hard to think of anyone that pulled it off with the exception of Helen Mirren.

I don't agree that Nicole Kidman looks washed out though - she looks lovely.

What on 🌍 were Jodie Kromer and Michelle Williams thinking? They both look uncomfortable in the photos as well.

Don't like Scarlett Johansson's either. Just too much - and don't like the scraped back hair.

Michelle Williams is pregnant so I'll give her a pass on the dress. I didn't think it was that bad apart from what looked like a blue crab on one strap!

I think Michelle Williams would have looked nice if it lost the mustard sleeve just dangling down her arm. I loved Gillian Anderson.

The paper’s were raving about Sofia Vergara but I thought the material and overall look was rather cheap.

Olivia Coleman's dress was horrible , can't believe she would ever wear something so hideous. Gillian Anderson looked lovely and elegant, and young as well.
