Warm boots for watching kids sports

Hi - due to current ice block feet I need some warmer boots for my weekend standing on the side of the rugby/football/you name it pitch. I have a great pair of dubarry boots but whilst water and mud proof they are not warm. I have ugg styles but they're not suitable for mud. I have snow boots for skiing but again not wild in them getting covered in mud! I keep seeing adverts on social media for trehorn boots - anyone tried them? Any other nice sale-friendly ideas?

Possibly not what you are after but could you not get a second cheap pair of snow boots that can get muddy? Decathlon have some for around £20. I think that’s what I would do.

I've got a pair of Geox snow boots that are warm and keep my feet dry. I've had them for about 7 years so nothing to link but definitely recommend them!

Timberland do waterproof, fleece lined boots. Most comfortable things I've ever had on my feet

In Lapland they suggest that wearing boots one size too big, with two pairs of socks, is the way to go. The boots need to be big enough to trap warm air in them.
Or buy those heated glove/boot warmers that stay warm for hours. Home bargains sell a twin pack of disposable ones for 69p.

Got some Reiker ones which are lined and are lovely and warm for watching football.

I usually pair up a pair of normal socks with a pair of ski socks as I’ve yet to find boots that keep my feet warm.

I just wore wellies with thick socks. If it was particularly cold, I’d add another pair os socks.

Thanks will investigate. Non of my boots are big enough for 2 pairs of socks!

I'm not winning any fashion awards but theses were £30 on sale, waterproof and warm. I wear them with jeans tucked in and north face black padded jacket.

I wear Karrimor hiking boots that are waterproof and wear 2 pairs of socks. Been stood at the side of football/rugby pitches for about 12 years and my feet are rarely cold. Hiking boots are pretty cheap in Sports Direct.

Fur lined DM's? I am lusting after a pair but car repairs have put a halt to that Hmm
