Yellow Snag tights help

I look like Elf guy but they’re so comfy. How can I tone them down??!

I'll keep until the occasion arises to be Elf then 😂 I'm just not cool enough

Ooh I don't have yellow, I'm way too boring for that but I have just bought snag tights for the first time. Are they comfy? I haven't worn a knee length dress and tights for about 30 years.

They are super comfy, I wear my yellow ones with navy dress.

I have the mustard ones and have worn them with a floral midi-dress, White Stan Smiths, and a leather biker jacket. Some teenage girls said deliberately loudly that I looked “a state”, and I have never worn them again since.

Fuck that, I bet you looked fab. Teenage girls can be total bastards. Wear them again with a flourish.

Knee length skirt and long boots so you just get a flash of colour :)

I have the purple and burgandy and have been eyeing up the mustard.

Now I need to know about Snag.
Tights are the fucking bane of my life but not because I'm a bigger girl. It's because I'm tall and skinny (with a big bum).

John Lewis have cut costs on their tights lately and I'm fuming. 5 years of consistent comfy skinny long leg high elastic high waist tights GONE. And they don't bloody care.

I LOVE your mustard outfit and I note you are a slim lady.

So are Snag as good for skinny as they are for their more frequently advertised large?

Tights are always too baggy on the ankle and never high enough in the rise to my belly button and roll down.

I put my yellow ones on one day for work and had to take them back off again, I looked like an extra from the Simpsons

I have snags in every colour. I try to match the colour of my tights with one of the colours in my dress, so I wear the turquoise ones with a dress that has different shades of blue in the design, and my mustard ones with a dress that has mustard tones in. I also wear the brighter colours with dark outfits, so if my dress is all one colour such as navy or black, they add a pop of colour. I have also worn them with denim shorts or under ripped jeans with Converse or Doc Martens, particularly in winter. I've also layered fishnets over the coloured ones to tone down the colour a little.

My yellow ones are my faves. I usually wear them with a dress with blue tones in, Ive done solid navy, navy & white stripe and denim skirt with striped Breton. I love them.

I wore my yellow ones today with a jersey dress in a dark teal.

Liking the teal idea. I wear mine with a gray dress.

Bought two pairs of snag tights recently after hearing so many good things about them -fab range of colours but I stuck with boring black Found them lovely to wear, the first pair of tights I've ever bought that actually fit ! I'm 5'9 and a size 22 so struggle to buy tights in normal stores. My only complaint would be that they took ages to arrive -almost three weeks I think.

Pumpkin, surferbluekind, pink, purple, fishnets and I should have had my most recent order already, should chase that up, can't remember but I think they were in an amazing green.

I've managed over the last year to acquire dresses etc which are either black or have a complementing colour in them. I also tend to match my eyeshadow.

And I couldn't give a toss it anyone thinks I'm too old or too fat or too weird, I've really come alive during the months I can actually wear tights (I overheat in the snow, you know my type).

Try their fishnets over the tights, or grab a different but complementing colour and make some small holes in different places so when you wear them underneath the holey ones, the colour is muted.

I shall not be deterred. I'll try a longer skirt first with knee boots. The outfit up thread with white Stan smiths and floral was ace!

I never have any problem matching them with my clothes, it's footwear I struggle with. I work in a primary school and need to be outside so usually stick to flat/ low heeled boots. Just think it looks jarring having the contrast of dark boots on. Must experiment more this year.

I'm a 12/14 by the way and 5'2 and they're v comfy

Teenage girls know nothing, Judy. Nothing. I’d have probably fallen over something trying to get a second look at you whilst taking style notes. Hoping this does not sound creepy I just love checking out great outfits put together with a bit of verve.

Snag tights are awesome. I have the bright turquoise ones and I wear them with a dark blue cord pinafore with a turquoise top underneath it and boots.

My 8yo said I looked embarrassing- so I fist pumped and told her my job was done.

Snag tights are just amazing. I opened the parcel and skeptical me said heck no they won't go over my big erse.

They did, and they are wonderful.

Ordering more but I'm just no brave enough to go for the beautiful bright colours.
