Advice please, going away to a really humid climate, would cutting my Twinkle Tip curls off super short again still suit me? Pic shown.

We are all off to Singapore this month to visit my sister for 5 weeks. I have been warned that the humidity is so bad it will play havoc with my curly hair. From my late teens I cut it short in a Halle Berry style cut for ease as it was such hard work to maintain but about 4 years ago I suddenly decided to grow it longer again. Whatever anti frizz product you name I have either tried or have, so I now remember how difficult it was for me before I cut it off years ago. I have spoken to my hairdresser about a new Halle cut. She feels I will suit it still but has suggested that I cut it even shorter before I go, down to a really short look like I have shown below as the humidity is nearly 100% in Singapore and that will be the only way to have no maintenance hair while I am away. Her point also is that after 6 weeks it will then be long enough for her to shape up back into a Halle short feminine style which I would love to have again. What do you all think?

Omg I ❤️ your hair! It's gorgeous! I have not straight/not curly frizzy mess. We were in Thailand and the humidity made it worse. Only thing I could do was keep it tied back.
I definitely wouldn't chop yours for a holiday!

Leave it, I would say! You're stunning!

Wow, thanks everyone for your positive comments about my hair. I have not explained properly, I am not cutting my hair short because of the holiday, I want to cut it short because I prefer myself with it short, the question is more do I go even shorter for the holiday than the Halle look. I was short for yeas and I just prefer the look, I have tried long again and I am just not happy with it. I must say that all the compliments about it have been appreciated though!

I live in Singapore. The humidity isn’t that bad and you will spend a lot of time in aircon anyway. If you do find it intolerable here, which I doubt you will, you can always get it cut here. There’s a big expat community including hairdressers who are good with western hair.

Hi everyone, thanks for the advice, I was at the salon today and I asked the stylist her view, she agreed with you all that my curls look nice but understood why I wanted to have it cut short, she has suggested I think it over for a bit longer as we do not leave till the 30th. I understand what you are all saying but I would love it short for general ease here in the UK never mind abroad.......I still am undecided but at least it was not cut today!
