Regrowing mini bald patch at centre of hairline

Advice please. I've got (have had for over 20 years) a little patch where my middle parting would start, that has only a few short and fragile hairs. There are definitely fewer roots than the rest of the hairline. It's only about 1-1.5cm squared but because of where it is I think it's noticeable when I tie my hair back.

I used to wear it with a side parting (although I'm doing very little with it at the mo because I'm breastfeeding and waiting it out till I can straighten it from its wavy-curly natural state: blow-dry and straighten doesn't last till the next day for me). In fact I'm quite unhappy with my hair at the moment so any general advice welcome.

Anyway any advice on how I can encourage hair to grow back in this patch would be great. I'm thinking massage and castor oil.

TIA

Good luck with that,if it has been like that for 20 years i doubt it will grow back, i have hair loss, more than yours and tried everything
My remaining hair grows with biotin ,but none grows where its almost bald
If you find anything that works please let me know, Smile

My hair was fat healthier when I finished breastfeeding.

I doubt the oil/massages will do much if you’ve had the patch for 20+ years. Any idea what may have initially triggered it?

I think if you’re serious, you should book a private appointment with a trichologist and take their advice.

No idea how to encourage the re-growth but to cover the thinning you could use the spray that you buy to cover greys. My hair is thin at my parting and my scalp easily seen so I spray the L'Oréal spray on to it. Covers it really well.
