Should I return this ?

Bought a leather bucket bag online with some Christmas money . Looked soft but in reality it’s very thick stiff leather that makes a noise when I walk . The quality looks good but then I’m used to cheap crap normally . It comes with a pot of cream presumably to keep it moisturised .
Will it go soft or should I return and order something else ?

I think the noise /squeakiness is from where the leather cord goes through the holes to draw it up .

Bags shouldn’t squeak so I’d return it if I were you. The squeaking would do my head in and put me off using it.
