Best Fake Tan for a Pale Novice

What do you recommend for someone pale that hasn't fake tanned before?

I love St Moritz! The medium is a lovely shade. A good way to start is with a gradual moisturiser - try Dove Summer Glow!

Utan is brilliant, I am pale and it always goes a lovely colour. Make sure you buy a good mitt and don’t put too much on your hands/feet!

Isle of Paradise tanning drops are great. You mix them with your moisturiser so can add as many or few drops as you want, and then just use your hands to apply (but wash them thoroughly after so they don't go orange!). I'm quite pale and can use medium or dark without looking too tanned so if you try the light it should be quite subtle. I also don't find it goes patchy as it wears off.

This isn't cheap but it lasts several washes and after you get the hang of it after the first attempt it is great.

You need to exfoliate religiously before you attempt it and have a basin of water ready to go to wash your hands.

having worked my way through pretty much all of them, I recently found (by accident) this after-sun that includes a pale fake tan.

I use the medium, and it's fine, I do look lightly tanned but more in a 'healthy glow' kind of way. If you use the moisturising mousse, it's only one shade and you just leave it on different lengths of time. It's one of the very few that don't go orange on me
