Help me find a dress for a Spring wedding!

Wedding at the end of March - as a guest! Haven't been to one in a few years and have nothing suitable. Would like a new dress but don't want to spend too much as it likely won't be worn again (will probably sell on).

I'd love any finds in the sales, or suggestions of any decent rental sites?

So a bit of info about me - I'm short and a size 10 ish. Like fairly well fitted clothes as anything loose or baggy looks awful on me. I'm a (dark) redhead and don't like pastels or very dark colours. Love strong bold colours - teals, royal blue, fuchsias etc.
Not too fussed if plain or patterned. Must be knee length or midi and preferably have a sleeve. Don't like deep necklines as I'm very small chested and have nothing to show off in that area!

High street shops I prefer are oasis, French connection, joy the store (louche), Oliver Bonas, joanie, sugarhill.....

I've started looking but no joy yet so would love your expert insights!

Loads in John Lewis sale.

Thanks - I'll have a look at these later when able to. I'd already looked in the JL sale but didn't see much that I liked.....

@cece - thanks for these! Some of these I'd already seen and discounted.
Really like the style of the first Debenhams one but don't like pastel colours. Second Debenhams one is the opposite - good colour but don't like style of it!

Yumi ones from JL - don't like black one at all, blue floral one is nice, but similar to dresses I have for work so not really special enough....

Jolie Moi one - fab colour and style, but don't like back cut out. Will definitely look at other dresses from this range though!

Boden Kate dress is worth a look too but more expensive. Lovely vivid green.

latheritup · 05/01/2020 18:19

Have a look on Lavish Alice!

nonsensicalmess · 05/01/2020 18:19

Thanks @ineedto . Really don't like the cobalt dress, not my style at all. Like the other two though just not sure they're different enough from what I usually wear to work? Boden one not too expensive so will look at more from there.

Lavish Alice really not my style - sorry! Too low cut, bits missing etc Grin

Best one so far is @Peasinthefreezer first ASOS one, green lace - it's lovely, I think I'll order it! Totally the type of thing I was looking for SmileSmile
Not keen on any of the other recent ones - either too plain or just not my thing. Thanks all, am loving this!

I've ordered the ASOS one, along with two others from that same range. Fingers crossed for success with one of them!
