What product do I need?

For my face. After showering in the morning my skin always feels really tight and uncomfortable. Nothing to do with my cleanser but because of the water I think.
If I use moisturiser it just gets greasy and my make up slides off. I have quite greasy skin anyway.
I feel like I need to put something on my face after a shower but I’m not sure what.
Any suggestions?

I always put a bit of The Ordinary hyaluric acid serum on in between showering and doing my teeth so that it soaks in and dries naturally. By the time I get back to the bedroom I'm ready for primer (I use The Ordinary silicon primer). Then let that rest whilst I sort hair before makeup. Discovering The Ordinary has transformed my skin.

Maybe a moisturiser in gel form. One that says for greasy skin / light formula? At the beauty counters they can advise you and give you a free sample.

I’ve tried light moisturisers but that hasn’t helped. Maybe a serum would work. I’ll try that thank you.

I know you said it's not your cleanser but what are you using?

LaLaLanded · 01/01/2020 16:46

Seconding peachy’s question - sorry, I know you think it isn’t your cleanser but just in case!

Do you have your water super hot?

CuckooCuckooClock · 01/01/2020 18:59

I use Superdrug b acid cleanser and don’t have my water very hot.
I suppose it could be my cleanser but I’ve always had this problem with any (and no) cleanser.
