Help needed ASAP please

Middle Aged woman going to a house and techno party . Summertime is pretty easy for dancewear
But winter...
And Middle Aged spread
And Christmas cheer sized gut
It’s nye
Have several slinky dresses
Could not wear heels
Have lots leggingsy type things
Maybe vests but feeling fat armed...
Any ideas gratefully received

Wear something that you feel comfortable in to dance and do full on fabulous full face make up, nails and hair, maybe a statement necklace and just go and and have fun. Have a big glass of something nice as you get ready, put some music on and remind yourself you're going out to have fun, not to be judged on what you wear. I'd put on jeans and tee (or dress if you prefer) that makes me feel the best and Converse to dance in.

Awww thanks so much. Tried in so many things. Tops and bottoms just accentuate gut so have gone with very slinky stretchy velvet dress, low cut and very flattering, charity shop 4 quid, worn it loads this winter already!
Statement necklace , big racer earrings and considering shoes now, hi tops or trainers!

Sounds like a fab outfit! I’d think I’d go for trainers instead of hi tops just in case they cut off your legs - but go with whatever you think looks good!

Ah thanks guys, had a really awesome night, was not over or underdressed and most of the women had gone similarly attired, maybe they’re all mumsnetters! Really good for clearing the cobwebs.
