Theatre and dinner outfit

My (awesome) DH has bought us tickets for the theatre and dinner at a fancy restaurant in London in March. It’s my Christmas present and I’m so excited.

I need something to wear that will work for both. I might have time to change between as it’s a matinee performance and dinner is at half seven. I’m going to need comfy shoes as I don’t really do heels (my feet hurt and I also have a bunion so just find them unnecessary!) and will have some walking in between places.

I’m thinking something like fitted trousers and a blazer and some sort of spangle on the top - or maybe a necklace with a plainer top. Or maybe a dress with black tights and said blazer.

I’m a bit clueless but if anyone has any suggestions for me I’d love that!

Oh and I’m a size 14-16 bottom and 12 top. Not overly booby but definitely booty! Have short hair - short on one side and chin length on the other.

I'd wear a more expensive / glamorous / luxurious version of what you usually wear.

Yes to a dress! Your smartest flat boots on your feet. Don't bother with the blazer, but wear a nice coat.

It depends how far apart the theatre, hotel and restaurant are as to whether you'll want to change for dinner.
