can I ask which are your favourite primers and why?

I have never used them before, don't wear foundation but would like to start wearing concealer more and reduce the size of pores, even out skin texture etc.
I'm 52 with combination skin.

I love Bobbi Brown primer.. it's expensive but you get a lot.
I'm also eagerly eyeing the "BECCA" primer.. I may give it a test next time I'm in Manchester.

Ok I can confirm, the Becca Backlight is bloody amazing. I am lit from within and my foundation goes on a dream.
