Help! Accessorising LBD for Motown NYE party

In my head a sequinned LBD I own was fine for Motown themed party tomorrow. Now I try it on beside the spangly suit my fancy dress loving husband is wearing it looks like I’m not really making an effort. What can I do in terms of tights shoes hair to, erm, be more Motown?

What’s your natural hair like? You need a beehive or maybe a flicky bob or lots of curls.

If you have patent knee boots they’d be good.

I’ve got long blonde hair so I was thinking a beehive. Large earrings are a good idea. I don’t have long patent boots - only suede which would be too hot I think.
