Skincare

So I’ve never really had a skincare routine. I will occasionally moisturise with some bog standard stuff, but mostly my routine consists of washing face with soap and water every morning and evening. I don’t wear a lot of makeup daily, justvat work, so three days a week. And it’s just bb cream as a base.
I’ve always been told I have nice skin and while I acknowledge that it feels smooth and I’m blessed with clear skin, I do get red nose, slight darkening under eyes, just little things that are creeping in. My problem is that every time I buy a new cream/ serum/ cleanser (which is rarely) I get excited to start my skincare routine but they all seem to make my skin worse. I get dry patches, or spotty areas or greasy bits and I just think “ok soap and water it is”
So I’m thinking I need some sensitive or pure type of product? Any ideas?

I'm a soap and water girl too op Smile think of all the packaging we are saving. are you moisturising regularly? I use coconut oil every evening but not sure if that'll work for you.
