Bra measuring - best place to go?

I've spent the last nearly 6 years in maternity and nursing bras (I didn't bother going back to normal bras between DCs!) and now I've weaned DC2 I desperately need some new bras. I have no idea what size I am now.

Where is a good place to get measured? Nearest big city centre is Birmingham.

You could try and get an idea by measuring yourself. Use the booborbust calculator

Bravissimo is usually recommended. M&S definitely is NOT! But as PP says, try it yourself using Boob or Bust and you'll get a good idea, then you can order some online or go into any store and try a few on without having to get a measuring appointment.

It will come out with a much smaller band size and bigger cup size than you think can possibly be true - but try them and you'll see that its right!

After measuring yourself, find a reasonably upmarket independent specialist lingerie shop with lots of stock and spend an hour trying on anything/everything you like, and then whatever the fitter recommends. Wear a simple T shirt you like, and anything you think fits well, try with the T shirt over it.
