Long blonde hair

So I’m naturally mid brown. I do take highlights quite well at first and suit the icy look.
However.
My hair is bra strap length, I don’t use much heat because it’s fine, curly and delicate,
Last year I got my highlights done twice. Olaplexed the bee Jesus out of it, but now it’s gone dull, brassy and meh.
Do I have to get the highlights done every 8-12 weeks to maintain the look ?
Will this ruin my hair ?

Have you used a purple shampoo? The purple will correct the orange tone in your hair. The Bleach London one is good but most brands have one

Purple shampoo is amazing, it's the only way to keep highlights bright
