All that I know about skincare has been gleaned from these boards and so, apologies, as I am sure this sort of thing has been covered before but I can't quite work it out. I'm in my 40s, prone to hormone related spots but otherwise clear, quite dry skin although I do react to a lot of products especially heavy creams (nivea or similar as a moisturiser is a definite no)
My skincare routine in the mornings is:
- wash face with Superdrug Vitamin E foam thing
- Boots No 7 serum and/or Ordinary Buffet (are these effectively doing the same thing? Does it matter if I wear both or would it be better for one to be a moisturiser?)
- La Roche Posey factor 50
- make up if I'm bothering to wear it (at most, consists of primer, foundation, eye shadow, mascara, blusher, lipstick)
In the evenings
- if worn make up, Garnier Micellar water
- Clarins foaming cleanser
- Pixi glow tonic
- maybe some Ordinary lactic acid
- Aldi moisturiser or some rose facial oil from TK Maxx
The good thing about the above is that none of them seem to cause any reaction. I just wonder if I should be doing more or something else.
Thanks
