Please help me dress these Nike trainers!

I got these for Christmas, and am trying to dress less frumpy and more fashionable!

However I don’t have a clue what kind of clothes to wear with them!

What do people wear with trainers other than jeans?

I’m happy to spend a few quid if necessary to update my wardrobe

They are quite out there. I always wear my trainers with jeans.

You could probably wear them with a causal skirt or nice casual trousers, I would probably wear them with jeans or leggings

That aside, I think they'll also go with cuffed skinny/slim cut jeans, preferably in black, and a slightly oversized sweater like this i.pinimg.com/474x/e2/9e/1b/e29e1bf296c9990f7f7dfa10a8ef38a3.jpg.

You could also pair them with black jeans, a loosely tucked-in casual shirt (denim shirts work too) with the sleeves rolled up to somewhere around your elbows.

If you're more into dresses, I think a t-shirt dress or a shirt dress could potentially look great. I have gold Nikes, and wear them with wide-legged cropped trousers, barrel-leg jeans, and in summer with midi-dresses and bare legs. Mine have a kind of cutwork detail going on, but if they were solid with no holes I would also wear them with black opaque tights, black leather mini skirt, and black polo/crew neck jumper at this time of year. (I know MN doesn’t like trainers and tights, but I do.)

I would wear them with EVERYTHING. You've got one gold pair and one silver pair though right? The pair isn't one of each colour?!?

You don't need both pairs. Return the pair you like least.
Wear the other pair with everything.

I ld wear them with most things- everyday outfit I suppose straight leg jeans/turned up Jean's or skinnies and french tucked jumper, t shirt, oversized shirt etc, layered necklaces, masculine/boyfriend cut of coat or leather jacket.

Could be easily worn with midi dresses too. I don't think theyre THAT out there tbh but
are very similar so I'd only keep one pair, once you've seen one you've sort of seen them both and I know they're not cheap (saw them on ASOS last week ). I'd just pick whichever went with existing outfits/my colouring/the jewellery colour I lean towards.

Didn't realise you had two pairs! Keep one and get a less metallic pair. Gold or silver trainers are pretty dated.

Omg I looove them! Id go for midi skirt with ankle socks/tights.

They are soooooo cool. I love them.

Definitely skinny, dark jeans - ankle length and a sweater. Keep the clothes very plain.

Also pleated skirts with and oversize jumper or sweatshirt.

Keep it simple and sleek. I think darker colours world work better.
