Any suggestions for alternative foundation?

I've been a Lancome foundation fan for years - I wear Teint Idole.

However, due to a hopefully short term budget crunch I need to cut back on my spends for a few months. i can happily find cheaper alternatives for my mascara etc, but wouldn't know where to start with cheaper foundations.

Any suggestions on brands to try that might have a similar coverage to my beloved Lancome?!

Thanks all

Teint Idole is very similar to Estee Lauder Double Wear, and YSL All Hours foundation. Good dupes I have tried in a pinch are Revlon Colourstay, Phoera (available on Ebay), and Primark's Double Wear dupe- I can't remember the name but it comes in a rectangular glass bottle like the original double wear does, with a black lid. Staying power with these is not quite as good but passable with a good quality setting powder. Alternatively, have you looked into Look Fantastic's website? They offer Clearpay, so you can buy it then pay it in 4 payments interest free. Hope that helps! 😊

Wow thanks Beccles** that's so helpful - will look at all of those and good info on the Lookfantastic payment plan!

I second the primark foundation I have a stay Matte one which is AMAZING coverage and honestly is my day to day foundation when I don’t want to break out the georgio Armani

@herewegoagain20 check these bad boys out on Look Fantastic - they've had some good reviews, and not expensive at all. Check out YouTube for some fantastic reviews 😊

Ok I'm definitely going to pop into Primark and check out their foundation.

The EX1 looks awesome and I'm loving that price but a lot of the reviews mentions how it suits olive complexions and I'm the complete opposite - pale and pink toned, so I think I'll need something I can buy in person!

If you want to try the EX1 they have it in Superdrug. I've heard good things about it but just waiting for my current bottle to be empty before I give it a go. I'd also recommend The Ordinary full coverage (as opposed to the serum one) foundation, it's only about 6 quid
