Does an hi one have this?
I’ve been lusting after it but at £50+ I don’t want to waste money if it’s not 100% amazing

Thanks for the intel - I’m very close to Bicester village and usually avoid it so had no idea there was pop up shop !

The ghost palette has just been reduced to 50 on john Lewis. Must have been today as i looked at it yesterday and it was 75

You’re all a bad influence!

So mine arrived yesterday, experimented with it this morning in preparation for tonight Grin Not sure tbh. I feel instead of blurring lines/ pores/ imperfections and making me glow, it’s sitting in every pore and fine line I have and making me look older Blush

Maybe I’m doing something wrong? I used the dim light all over, the radiant light on my brow bones and cheeks and the highlighter one just on the cheek bone and inner corners of my eyes (which I do actually like the effect of) I made sure I moisturised and primed before use etc, hmm. At the moment I’m wondering what all the fuss is about!

I'm wondering if you put on too much? I have big pores but mine just dusts over everything and obscures beautifully. You don't need much

StatisticallyChallenged · 31/12/2019 13:54

Just clocked moisturised and primed... what foundation did you use

MamaFlintstone · 31/12/2019 13:58

I don’t have the palette but I have the Ethereal Light and Luminous Light Ambient Light powders and they’re both lovely. I use Ethereal strictly as a highlighter and Luminous a bit more liberally.

I’ve had this in a space nk wish list for ages...hourglass mascara amazing too.

I use the ELF Illuminating Palette which is the often lauded dupe for the Ambient Light Palette, and its brilliant.
I don't mind spending money on products if they live up to their hype, but I get much nicer results with the ELF Palette, and its close to a tenth of the price Smile

I use a Charlotte Tilbury foundation. I’ll try again for this evening and maybe put less on, though I don’t think I put too much on the first time, just dusted it around my face. Will have another go!

Well it arrived on Tuesday after a bit of delay from cult beauty.
I've made a few makeup changes recently as my skin is quite oily and I was not looking great by lunch most days - Think shiny T zone and redness.

I love the hourglass primer, I thinks it's really made a difference. Makes a lovely smooth base for foundation.

I'm now using smash box oil free 15hr foundation and I'm really noticing a difference, no shine showing through all day, which for me is amazing!

On top of that I'm using the hourglass ambient. I have to say that when I first applied it was a bit meh, and underwhelmed, but actually it does give me a nice soft glow and gives me a healthy look . It's subtle, but actually that's exactly how it should be!

I'm still using my usual finishing power from Chanel and then using the hourglass like a bronzer, lightly dusting it over checks etc

overall I'm really happy with it, thanks so much for the advice you all have given, it's been so helpful

I have one; totally sold on reviews and packaging.

Biggest waste of money ever.

I spend a lot on expensive skincare which is worth every penny to me.

I used my hourglass three times. Hated it. I looked glittery and wan at the same time.

Maybe the wrong shade but I wouldn’t risk the £££ again sorry

I big NO for me. Dim light is the only product to ever give me large pores. For context I have nice, even skin tone that agrees with almost anything. And the primer don't get me started, the primer does nothing whatsoever. This stuff is the emperors new clothes for sure. I found out about Hourglass on MN (where I get all my trusty reccomendations) I went through a period where I convinced myself that you lot where all bots who plugged hourglass thru MN. I buy A LOT of beauty stuff, this is hands down the worst. Waste of money.
