Seeking work trousers that aren’t polyester 🤔

Top of my sales wish list are some smart heavyweight trousers that are full length and probably wide leg. I tend to wear fitted shirts or tops. I’m a size 14 and 5’8”

I have 2 faithful pairs from next a few years ago which need replacing and there doesn’t seem to be anything similar on there. I’ve trawled the John Lewis site and come out with nothing.

Any clues where to look??

I have some Boden Hampshire trousers for work; really comfortable, heavy, don't crease, look smart.

I've just ordered a haul from Banana Republic. They've got quite a few in the sale, although a lot of them turn out to be sold out when you try and add them to your basket. They've got quite a few wool-based trousers, just check the description for the washing instructions as many of them are dry clean only (not sure if this is an issue for you?)

Brax, sold by Peter Hahn. Wool but can be washed.

J Crew? I've had a pair from them for a year now and must have washed them 15-20 times and they still look as good as new. Expensive but work it for knowing I have comfortable & smart trousers

I have never investigated their range but Robell gets a lot of raves.

I'm just seeking my bloody work trousers , I'm back on Monday and I have no flipping idea where they are !

Next call is DH wardrobe , I am hoping they might accidently have been bundled in there
(DH helpfully asked if I'd put out a Charity bag recently ? - Answer :No)

Boden sometimes do nice ones.

Actually mine are polyester M&S boil-in-the-bag slacks.......so they've probably run away from S&B in shame
