L'Occitane

I got a lovely gift box of face goo (technical term for serums, etc) from L'Occitane. I don't really use face stuff though so I'm going to exchange. I usually only buy perfume on there though, and I already have loads so is there anything unmissable I should look at?

The lavender bath stuff and almond shower oil

Oh and shea butter hand cream!!!

Coldhandscoldheart · 26/12/2019 21:14

I don’t use many of their things, but their Shea butter hand cream is lovely, that one and the lavender one . Some of the others are too strong smelling for me, but they also sink in well, and aren’t too greasy.

bluebluezoo · 26/12/2019 21:16

The olive shower cream.

muddledmidget · 26/12/2019 21:16

I love their shea butter foot cream, amazing if you have really horrid feet like mine. Also the cherry blossom shower gel is lovely

DontDribbleOnTheCarpet · 26/12/2019 21:18

Any of their lemon verbena stuff is lovely. I'm quite dull and only buy soaps or hand creams really, but I do love their stuff.

Solasum · 26/12/2019 21:22

Has anyone managed to do swaps without a receipt? I was given a few things that I won’t use but would like to swap for things I will, but their exchange policy seems to be with receipt only

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 26/12/2019 21:41

Oh, foot cream sounds excellent for this time of year. I'll definitely look at that. I love the lemon verbena stuff too. The hand soap is gorgeous but I resent the children's mucky paws grubbing it up on me.

I've never had to exchange anything but I can recommend the hand cream and the foot cream that come in metal tubes. They're also boxed.
They are, quite literally, the only creams that soften my cracked, dry skin.

SmallPinkBear · 26/12/2019 21:47

The hand cream, I love it and have the ‘key’ to make sure I get every bit out.

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 26/12/2019 21:50

The tube key? Did you get it in store?? That alone would be worth the exchange!

The almond shower oil and the matching almond body cream. Also the shea butter shower gel and body lotion. And the hand creams of course.

RJnomore1 · 26/12/2019 21:57

I love the almond shower gel.

RJnomore1 · 26/12/2019 21:57

Sorry - shower oil

Fluffycloudland77 · 26/12/2019 21:59

I’ve been given some of their stuff but they test on animals for the Chinese market.

I won’t be using it.

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 26/12/2019 22:04

Ah crap, I didn't know that, Fluffy.

GriseldaChop · 26/12/2019 22:07

The verbena shower gel and cherry blossom shower gel are both nice too. Smile

Fluffycloudland77 · 26/12/2019 22:23

Minefield isn’t it?.

On their website they say they are hoping to alter china’s policy on this but that’s what western governments say about their human rights policy’s. China’s a one way road.

Everley · 26/12/2019 23:23

I like the hand creams and the almond shower oil a lot.

ViveLEntenteCordiale · 27/12/2019 01:34

Can you get the Christmas specials in the U.K.? The grapefruit and rhubarb stuff is lovely!

Bigredumbrella · 27/12/2019 02:04
