Ear piercings

Hello all,

Random question how do you decide which ear to have extra piercings in?

I have 2 lobe piercings in each ear & a closed up 3rd lobe on 1. I'm thinking of getting a helix on 1 side & then some additional lobe ones on the opposite ear. Not sure if helix should be on that side too though?

Not helpful really but I just had an extra lobe piecing and a forward helix, I just had them in the same ear so I still had a side I could sleep on.

Both healed really well so now thinking about the other side, so another lobe piecing and something else - haven't decided what.

Good point re sleep, Ive heard the helix ones can give a bit of jip. I've wanted extra piercings for 2 yrs but want to make sure I get it right as I'm fussy. In the same vein i've wanted the same small tattoo for 15 yrs but still worried I will change my mind!

Re lobes i'm torn between having 2 extra so 4 fairly close together or 1 close to the other two & another one further up (think it's lower helix).

It's taken me ages as well, loads of time on Pinterest and then when I eventually decided what I wanted I struggled to find a Piecer but I have now found a brilliant one.

Where is your pierced out of interest?

I would consider what side you sleep on , too.

I have a 2+1 .
If I got another (I am considering a tragus ) it would go on the left so it was even and that's my 'good' side

I had my helix done on the left because I sleep mainly on my right. I'm glad I did because its been nearly 3 months and it's still not very comfortable to lie on!

I've got 2 x cartridge in each ear, and then 2 x helix, tragus and conch in just one ear.
It looks fab, especially with just silvers bar balls in.
I spread out my piercings, especially with the tragus and conch to make sure they healed ok in that ear. I think I left 9 months between those two.
Go for what you feel, it will look fab and unique for you x
