Evening all!
I’ve been very lucky to have received a Phillips lumea ipl for Christmas which I am very happy with! I’ve also been given a bottle of Anagel to go with it. What do I do with the Anagel please?!
Thank you!

You don't need the anagel with the lumea, you use it on bare skin. Anagel is a contact gel but no need for it with the Philips

Oh no! DH bought it me. Can it be used afterwards as a moisturizer? I’ve no idea what it is!

It would be a conductive geo used for some oil machines, double check your model version of Lumea doesn’t need it. It’s like the gel usd for scans when you are pregnant don’t think it does anything like aloe Vera gel would do.

I feel bad telling dh that it’s not needed. He bought it coz it came up on amazon as a recommended product to go with it.

Don’t tell him, he won’t know! Unless he got a supersize bottle and it’s worth trying to return it, which anyway compared to the price of Lumea is negligible.
Your DH is very thoughtful. Or just say ‘Gosh, even I didn’t know it doesn’t need a gel! ’ He really won’t feel bad.
Not sure if you can use it with other gadgets like those muscle building belts gizmos.
Did the Lumea instruction not indicate you need the gel (just double checking?) in case it’s an older model.

Oh I remembered, those gadgets like NuFace need a gel so maybe ask for that next year Grin

Looked in the book and there’s no mention of the gel at all. I’ve just looked and the gel is only cheap so I don’t feel too bad now!
Looking forward to using it and hopefully noticing good results :)

What model is it? Some older ones needed gel.

PinkDaydreams · 26/12/2019 14:29

It’s the prestige model, he bought it direct from philips

Oooo thats a great one and defo wont need the gel.

Good luck with it and I hope it works well for you. I ordered a Philips Lumea advanced so not quite as good as yours but hopefully will have great results nevertheless.

I've never had one before but I really feel I needed one as hair is growing where it never had before and I'm so fed up with it all.

I’m looking forward to not having to defuzz before swimming! I go at least once a week with the little one and it annoys me having to make sure I’m prepped the night before. Also I have to do my armpits each morning so I’m looking forward to doing those a lot less too (hopefully!)

You are one lucky girl! Don’t be disheartened if you don’t see a dramatic reduction after the first treatment. It’s a great gift!

TantricTwist · 27/12/2019 20:40

Same OP that's why I got it too so I could swim more without all the defuzz hassle.
