Keratin 12 week blow dry and dandruff

After saving for ages, I got a 12 week keratin blow dry. I am thrilled with the results as its tamed my frizzy hair. However I am going crazy with an itchy and dry scalp. I bought the shampoo from the hairdresser so I know that I am using the correct one after the treatment. It's been two weeks since the blow dry and I will be so upset if I resort to using the reliable nizorol ( I dont think its compatible with the blow dry)
Any suggestions or ideas on what I can do?
Thanks!
Ps I left a message yesterday for the hairdresser but she hasn't called back. I understand completely as I know it is a really time for her.

You just need an SLS free shampoo, so you can buy a different product/brand etc that cleanses your scalp more.

For example, I used Kerastase Aura Botanica at first, a combination of this & the keratin treatments left my hair quite flat/limp/greasy straight after washing. I switched to Kerastase Chroma Riche (sls free version of course)

Also, feel free to use lots of dry shampoo!

You need SLS and sodium free shampoo.

Thanks for the replies. I purchased the sls and sodium free shampoo from my hairdresser, but it didn't occur to me to try a different one. I will try to find a cheaper one as the current shampoo was expensive. I am off to google for ideas.

You could try moroccanoil dry scalp treatment. It's safe to use with the keratin 12 week blow-dry treatment.

Don't use dry shampoo. I have no idea if it would damage the BBD but it will make your scalp worse.

My scalp was mad after keratin. I used a sodium and sls free shampoo..i thought my scalp will settle but after persevering for 4 weeks i just gave up and used head and shoulders.. my scalp calmed down immediately and my hair actually felt clean. I think keratin friendly shampoos dont clean my scalp well as i always felt oily and greasy when normally i can go 3 days and it look ok.

I have Keratin treatment a lot and only once ended up with the dry flakes and itching. I got some coconut oil and left it on over night, then washed as normal, in the morning, with sulphate free shampoo. Made a big difference to the flakes!
