Has anyone used the DAFNI hot brush? Or the GHD one? If so, would you recommend?

I have the Babyliss equivalent - here.. Brilliant. Smoothes the hair and takes out the kinks, but doesn't make it poker-straight and flat.

I've got the ghd glide. I love it. I've got thick wavy/curly hair. Takes 45 minutes to straighten properly. I get the same effect with the brush and only takes 10/15 minutes.

I tried my friend’s GHD glide. It wasn’t suitable for my fine/damaged hair, I felt like it was tugging and occasionally making my snap as I ran it through, so I guess my hair is too weak for it! Aside from that, the results were just okay. I prefer normal GHDs.

I have the Dafni cordless brush it's pretty good. Probably not as powerful as the plug in version.

MrsW85 · 24/12/2019 07:39

i think they definitely work better on thicker hair as its got something to grip on to.

I’ve got the GHD Glide, I absolutely love it. I have thick, wavy, frizzy hair and it makes it look great in 10 minutes.

Thanks all.

I'd say my hair is pretty average 'thickness', shoulder length, not wavy but not straight either.

I hadn't seen those ones @CointreauVersial ! The price point on these is particularly appealing. I am looking for something quick and easy to just tidy up my frizzy/fly-away before work etc. So I'm thinking these could be a good option.

I've been really happy with mine - and yes, price was the main appeal (got mine on a Black Friday deal last year).

My hair is quite fine, so I always brush it through first to get rid of any snags. It takes moments to make my hair surprisingly presentable.

Can also find it in Boots.
