What kind of highlighter can I mix with foundation?

I saw a make up tutorial somewhere that mixed something in with the foundation before putting it on. It was maybe a highlighter cream? Can anyone recommend something?

I use a ByTerry thing and mix it with my Bobbi Brown foundation. Works well for me. Makes the foundation thinner and less cakey.

What about a MAC strobe cream?

Any really. I've mixed mac strobe cream, benefit high beam and a Barry m one before now

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter is good mixed in with foundation. Sometimes on a really good skin day I’ll just use concealer and a bit of the FF instead of foundation.
