Too formal for my job?

I work as a part time receptionist/frontdesk on weekends and there's a dress code that we have to adhere to. On paper it sounds very formal: Formal office wear + covered shoes. But the people working there are a lot more casual in office. Even the big bosses don't dress that formally unless we have clients visiting. I found this dress for sale and bought it but I have second thoughts on whether it is too formal for the job.

Thoughts?

No it's lovely. It's just a very nice, flattering and classic black dress. You can't go wrong!
