Anyone know about lash lifts? Mines gone a bit weird

I bought a home kit. Did 1 eye last week and loved it. Did the other eye last night but it's gone weird, my lashes are pointing straight up and not curled at all, they look and feel weird! Plus I can't put mascara on without painting my eyelids as they are at a right angle.
What did I do wrong?!

Too difficult doing this at home. I got mine done by a professional once and they grew out all twisted and at different angles. It really depends who you go with as friends swear by getting them done.

Either pay to get it done or leave them alone (or get lash extensions every two weeks like I do #fortune)

I tried lash extensions but too time consuming with an 11 month old baby! Plus when they came out they took all my lashes.

I just want to know what I did wrong on this 1 eye as the other eye looks great 😒

Honestly op, get some Revitalash. You'll never need lifts or extensions again

I am a trained beauty therapist who does lash lifts on myself and clients. The trick really is the placement on the shields they Have to all be lying straight not crossed etc and pulled up tight. Apply the Perm lotion only to the base of lashes on as tight as you can and timings make sure the timings for the Perm and neutralizer is correct. But even though I am trained I can not do as good a lash lift on myself as in others it is really difficult.

And what size Shields? Did u leave the lotions on the same amount of times, did you make sure your lashes were completely oil free, did you remove the options with as little water as possible, did you have a hot bath or shower afterwards?

Ffsseriously · 23/12/2019 14:36

Options =lotions

@Ffsseriously I don't have very long lashes so used the smallest shield thingy. Followed all the instructions to a T. They look weird 😕

Might it help if we see a pic?

Ffsseriously · 23/12/2019 21:22

How short are your lashes the small shield gives a more intense curl very up unless lashes are very short I would use medium. But yes pics would be helpful.
