So I'm 12 weeks post partum and have had my hair done as a treat and to make me feel a little better.

I absolutely hate it, it was a caramel balyage and it's now the below, I wanted to go a natural colour for ease of up keep and was told this would wash out to a caramel colour with an ash Brown route which is my natural.
I dont quite know how I was talked into this but i had the baby with me.

I've washed it furiously now for a week with no results. And I really dont fancy going back, not that I'd get an appointment now.

Do you think I can put an ash Brown box dye over the top? Even though its bleach?

Oh I like the colour but understand that you don’t so.... reds absolutely do fade and when I was red I was advised to wash it with cool water to preserve the colour so you should obviously do the opposite. Also, when I’ve been other colours and they’ve been a bit bold I’ve used head and shoulders and that definitely lifts the colour out.
Be gentle on your hair though, don’t add loads more dye or use washing up liquid it’ll ruin the condition which looks very good. Flowers
