Gel nails...

Please tell me whether I can perk up my lovely gel nails with a fresh (non-gel) top coat, or will it do more harm than good? I could only get an appointment too soon before Christmas, so the shine is dimming. TIA and merry Christmas!

Yep, no issue with that! It won't affect the gel at all

Use a spray of acetone, that will clean them up. Just like they do when they finish the nails in the salon.

They don't use acetone! It's alcohol. Don't use acetone unless you want them off.

I will wipe them with gin! Good tip!
