Thought this might help with encouragement. Idea is to share the goal but also an idea of the steps you are thinking of taking to get there.

Not tackling anything over Xmas as I'm ill and tired!

But have a plan for New Year.

My resolutions:

Lose the 2 stone I have gained by the end of next year
I will use Our Path for 12 weeks and identify short cuts to help with the meal prep and enlist my husband to help with the cooking.

Build strength
Use the gym at work 2-3 per week to focus on weight training. I will ask the PT at the gym to design a programme for me.

Teeth
I will get a good scale and polish early in the new year, change my brush heads and start to properly floss ( maybe with a water flosser?)

Clothes
I have beautiful clothes already that I can't wear because I'm too fat! So the idea isn't to buy new clothes but to look after the ones I have

I'm actually looking forward to the new year so I can get to work on getting out of the rut I'm in!

I need to lose some weight too, probably up to a stone. My other resolutions are to:

  • Eat more healthily. Pretty much living on kettle chips at the moment.
  • Drink more water (and a whole lot less coffee / wine)
  • Be more high maintenance. This is the biggie for me. I'm pretty 'wash and go' in style, and I'm no longer getting away with it at 36! So I want to get nails done more regularly, more threading / waxing, and taking more time to moisturise my body, shave legs etc at home.

Bring it on!

I need to get some tone back so running 2-3 times a week which normally sorts it and I plan to start a weekly yoga class.

Keratin treatment every 4 months- this seems to make me look so much more polished.

Nails done short blunt.

Keep water intake high.

Don’t but new clothes but get rid of tatty clothes.

Ooooh this is a good idea! I feel like let myself go a bit during the last years.

These are things I'm already trying to do:

  • wear heels more often
  • take better care of my skin
  • taking digestive enzymes & probiotics for
my skin and bloated belly

And this is what I still need to work on:
-eat better (again for my skin and belly)
-shape up
-actually figure out what styles and fits suits me
-stand my ground with my dermatologist and insist that we need to take action (acne outbursts)

I've seen photos of me recently on days where I thought I looked good. Good grief, I was wrong. I really look out of shape and my clothes definitely didn't help! So I will need to work on that. I don't think I need to lose lots of weight but definitely need to shape up. I look seriously unfit.
