FB ad and the site looks dodgy. But I want a scarf like this!!!

One of those FB ads popped up on my feed and instantly I thought ‘too good to be true’ - for a start the mannequins used are inconsistent and I suspect it’s other people’s pics and the goods are shoddy copies. I’ve tried reverse image searching with no luck. But I bloody love the look of these oversized, fleece wrap scarves with buttons or clips to hold in place. I work at home in an old house and I’ve love to have one to snuggle into.

Any one know of any similar (that are legit) out there?

How were they in comparison to the pictures? Would you say you are pleased? I am handy with sewing though and rather than buy a knock off im kind of tempted to buy some fleece and pretty cotton and have a go. I also have some lovely slate buttons in my stash.

If you’ve got a machine then definitely make your own OP - likely better quality, you can make bespoke adjustments to the pattern and choose your fabric to suit your taste. Plus the slate buttons sound cool!

The quality is brilliant. I'm really pleased with them. I got the light grey cotton one with the birds on and the fabric is really soft. I also got the dark blue fleece one with dandelions on and grey fleece and that too is lovely fabric. The stitching looks very good too. They look of good quality that will last. If I'd known they could be knock offs I wouldn't of bought them but I have them now! They do look very easy to make so if you have the skills I'd say go for it. My mam can so and is planning on making some to sell for charity

Well, I did bite and bought from them £92. They took their time, well and truly!!! TDO NOT THINK YOU WILL RECEIVE WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PICS, iS NOTHING BUT THE CHEAPEST NYLON-POLIESTER LOWEST CHINESE QUALITY EVER!!! Then if things go wrong, you need to return the items PAYING FOR IT with your own money. Do your self a favor and just do not buy from them OM YOUR MONEY!!!

So (for those still here) I had a go and made one and I’m actually really pleased with the results. Very tricky to photograph as it needs to be on a bust or human but hopefully even on a hanger you get the idea. This was with jersey (And has come out really very chunky) but I’m going to repeat this with microfleece and a thin cotton for a slightly less Antarctic version. Very snuggle and cosy!

I saw an advert on Facebook too & loved the bold tops, hoodies, dresses & the lovely wrap scarves- I liked the Grey one with blossom on it. Can anyone recommend anywhere to get stuff like this that’s not dodgy? Glad I checked on here.

I have received one of the scarves I ordered and it was ok. Another is on its way but I don't know about the third. I didn't pay much so am not too bothered but they have taken ages to arrive.

Just had a look at the German Etsy seller & yes they do look the same but my goodness the price!! £70 for a hoodie is a bit steep! Love those prints though.
