How do I clean this jumper?

I have a light up Christmas jumper and the battery no longer works. How do I wash it now? I'll insert a picture of the battery. I'm not bothered about replacing the battery, I just want to clean it.

If you're not bothered about the battery why not just wash in an ordinary wool wash?
