Pony Tail

How do I get some volume on the top of my head when I scrape my hair back into a ponytail? And how do you keep the pony tail looking high / sticky outy rather than it kinda dragging down?

Head upside down to do put it in?

I use this volumising powder

(Though any volumising powder will do)
Then back comb the hair at the back top bit of head & a bit of backcombing at the front.
Gather my hair into a ponytail, flip head upside & brush through then put bobble in hair. Also tighten up the ponytail when my head is the right way up again.
I also put a hair grip in front of the bobble to anchor the height in place.
