Prairie dress

I would really love a long/midi prairie-style dress but the ones I've list my heart to are way out of price range (e.g. O Pioneer ones featured in today's Guardian for £400).

Can anyone steer me in the direction of a suitable option that is a little less spendy? I particularly love the muted colours of the O Pioneer ones. I'm a size 8 and pretty flatchested so usually fine to buy online without trying on.

Kitri is a bit more reasonable.

Or you'll quite often find vintage on ebay.

Is it the puff sleeves you like? .. the winter version of 'The' Zara dress is quite pioneer-like

In fact several of their current dresses are that kind of style another example

or this, which they also have in animal print?

That blue Zara one a pp posted - I have it and it's terrible quality, I'd give it a miss. Lovely print though. I saw a couple in H&M that were about £25 and great!!

Thanks all, very helpful! Kitri looks good. I am always a bit suspicious of Zara quality so thanks for the tip there. And I will check out eBay!

I second H&M, I purchased two recently that rival my Hush and Ganni dresses for a fraction of the cost.
