Help! 38GG/40GG in need of a comfy supportive bra...do they exist?

I've always worn Freya, fantasie brand bras in 38GG and I'm finding that sometimes the straps aren't thick enough and dig in my shoulders, the side support ones I find really uncomfortable too.

Can anyone recommend any good supportive bras with thick straps which I won't need a second mortgage for?

Thanks

@Soontobe60 - once you’ve been properly fitted you can pick them up cheaper on the internet. I’ve got a deauville that I wear most days that’s two years old now and still going strong. It’s worth every penny.

I really like the Goddess Keira/Kayla bras. I buy them from Amazon or Ebay and you can get them in some nice patterns as well as the standard plain colours. They last for ages washed on the delicate cycle.

I’m 38HH and see that the one bra I was going to suggest has already been recommended several times Grin Yep it’s the Rigby & Peller Deauville. Only bra I’ve ever found truly comfortable. I went into R&P for a spontaneous fitting a few months ago and haven’t looked back. Do it, OP. Expensive but worth it. Good support for very large breasts is a health issue.

You shouldn't need wider straps if you are wearing the right bra. The strap round your back should be taking the weight of your breasts, not your straps.

I am DD+ too and I went to M&S thinking they would be good, nope how wrong was i!! Very unflattering, my boobs were practically swinging round my ankles, and I got properly measured!! I bought some in Matalan recently that look 10000x better. I like Bravissimo too

I've taken the plunge and ordered two deauvilles! I'll report back when they arrive!
