Really need help with this outfit

I have this dress to wear for a wedding and another ‘do’

I need tights and Shoes to go with it . I’ve tried nude tights from next and I felt like a granny in them . I’m very pale so perhaps not the right colour ..not sure . Black tights made my legs look like twigs and just , well , wrong .

I was thinking closed toe shoes because of the weather and the tights but I’m a jeans and flats person and have no idea . I prefer almond or roundy toes . Feel funny in pointed but may be because I am not very on trend these days !
Time is running out and I’m stressing!
I’d really appreciate some suggestions.

I'd go for sheer black tights and ankle or shoe boots with a bit of a heel (if you can manage it).

i expected the big thumbs down on those shoes ! Where do i look for decent tights ? I have quite thin legs and the darker the tights the more so they look skinny .

Love the KG shoes OP. I'd go all out and wear black opaque polka dot tights or some silver ones, bold red lip and a big velvet bow in my hair or a headband but I do err towards the quirky so appreciate that might not be the vibe you envisaged.

I do think a less opaque plain black would work fine though? If you feel self conscious about your legs, I'd go bold on the leap and do a hair accessory. People won't pay much attention to all black on the legs I don't think!
