What shoes/boots with this dress?

I just bought this very flattering dress. I'm 44, and want some funky shoes/boots to go with it for nights out. No leather as I'm vegan. Any suggestions?

I've attached a pic of some boots I ordered that I love, but they're too high and I can't wear them. Do anything lower like that would be amazing.

Nothing above 3 inches as I just can't wear them too high!

Have you looked at Irregular Choice shoes? They are quite different and funky.

Not cheap, but United Nude shoes are amazing.

Posted too soon. The fold range are vegan. They're made of what appears to be industrial strength elastic.

I've looked at all the recommendations but nothing is quite hitting the spot.

Someone suggested nude strappy heels. I have some of those, and they do look nice but I wanted something a little bit more edgy, more funky, for a different look just to soften or perhaps harden the prettiness.

I used to have the perfect pair of shoes but for some reason I got rid of them! Sob!
