I’m 49 ( nearly). Been a rough old few weeks here ( stressful new job/ family illness/ relationship stuff. I had some sort of nasty allergy thing on my face ( doctor said some sort of dermatitis I’m not so sure) plus a couple of weeks of terrible broken sleep and I’ve developed deep under eye creases. I am often told I look young for my age but I think I look like shite just now. I bought some retinol cream from Superdrug but it’s not really doing the job.Any recommendations - not surgical , things aren’t that bad yet! TIA

Plenty of water and a really good moisturiser......not eye cream just moisturiser. Eat the right foods and keep well. When I'm run down my under eye area is the first to show my age.

The nip and fan no needle fix eye cream is fabulous. Tiny size but you only need a little bit.

Avocado eye concentrate by Kiehls.

I occasionally suffer with terrible sore itchy red patches under my eyes which wrinkle horrifically.

I've had steroid cream from the GP which helped but didn't cure and my skin clinic appointment at the hospital isn't until June 2020, I know!

Anyway I discovered this by Kiehls only the other week after asking for samples at literally 10s of skincare brands in and around Oxford St. It's the best I've ever known and almost instantly did the trick.

Its not terrible pricey, £24 for a 15ml pot and you only need a tiny bit. I really hope it works for you. Let me know!

What cream do you mean Ingridla? I'd like to have a try of it.

Thanks, didn't realise you'd mentioned the name. I never read your original post properly. I blame night shift!

No worries. I'd recommend a tea tree oil cream/ balm as well. I slather some on sometimes before bed as an extra (plus it's very reasonably priced) in good pharmacies or health food shops
