Anyone tried magnetic eyeliners/false lashes?

And if so, are they any good?

Teenage DD has asked for these for Christmas. I've never seen any in shops, and the brands on Amazon are ones I've never heard of.

It looks like the sort of bats product that is very suitable for teenage experimentation. Just a bit wary of putting unknown stuff on eyelids.

(Is stuff listed on Amazon UK all adequately safety tested? Or am I hopelessly naive?)

I've bought from silly George on FB. Neither myself or my DD can master getting them all. You can cut them to make it easier but I've not tried that yet.

I bought Lola's Lashes. Great stuff! So much easier than glue or the other type of magnetic eyelashes that clamp around your real ones.

I am ruled out for these. For the life of me I can not apply eyeliner correctly so heavens know what why the lashes would look.

@EdithWeston Did you try Lola's lashes? Were they any good? Trying to decide whether to purchase myself as I normally get extensions but won't be able to for a while now!

I tried the Ardell ones which were pretty impossible to put on, and looked really shit when I managed it. They dont curve around your lash line, so the ends were sticking out.

@hipslikecinderella Yes I saw reviews weren't great for the Ardell ones. The Lola ones have good reviews on trust pilot and appear to be London based but I am still not sure if I trust they are all real reviews .. They are a lot of money if they don't work.
