Concealer for dark circles that won't sit in lines

Does this exist?? I don't have bags or puffiness as such, but definitely darkness. I've tried Rimmel, Maybelline, Catrice and Boots No7 but either they do nothing for the darkness or they improve it slightly but then make my lines more noticeable Sad

Where can I find this holy grail of under eye concealer?!

I'm always on the hunt for the perfect undereye concealer too. So many just make the whole area look worse. At the moment my favourite is the Revlon Candid concealer. It has decent coverage and not bad for creasing. The L'oreal Age Perfect concealer is another one that doesn't crease much on me but I think the Revlon one has better coverage.

I love the collection concealer - cheap , good shades and doesn't sit in the lines Xmas Smile

Anoisagusaris · 13/12/2019 20:52

YSL Touché Eclat or Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away

Beanybop · 13/12/2019 20:53

Primark works for my dark and liney eye bags, their make up can be surprisingly very good.

QueenJulian · 13/12/2019 21:13

Clarins instant concealer.

MerryDeath · 13/12/2019 21:42

benefit boing has always been my choice. it's very sort of... waxy so it doesn't seem to budge.

but today is my first day using bare minerals gel serum something or other and i look ok! it's wetter than i would go for but still working 12 hours on.

LittleLongDog · 13/12/2019 21:50

Have you tried using a colour corrector first? Pink is good for brightening under eyes.

DariaMorgendorffer · 13/12/2019 21:52

Estée Lauder have a lovely concealer with a serum at the opposite end of wand, to help minimise circles. Disclaimer - the serum makes my eyes itch but 90% of eye products do. It has no ill effects on my dm. And I love the concealer, so not all is lost.

One of my colleagues staged an intervention recently and got me onto Bobbi Brown, which is terrific.

Bluntness100 · 13/12/2019 21:53

Charlotte tilbury magic away, it also has the benefit of making the area look smoother and isn't totally flat.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 13/12/2019 21:55

Revlon eye primer, it's a pink eye brightener and of they ever discontinue it I will cry!

JustOneSquareofDarkChocolate · 13/12/2019 21:57

Trish McEvoy - amazing!!

madcatladyforever · 13/12/2019 22:04

touche eclat a shade or two darker than your skin. i am whiter than white but can wear quite a dark shade and it doesn't look fake at all.

Beamur · 13/12/2019 22:07

Clinique air brush concealer is good..

Aurea · 13/12/2019 23:25

Sisley is amazing . Very expensive but lasts nearly a year as the tube is double the size of a regular concealer.

Bobbi brown do one which comes with a colour corrector. It's fab. I often use the colour corrector on its own.
The concealer itself it lovely. Doesn't sit in my fine lines, doesn't dry out and 'lifts' my face

jcurve · 14/12/2019 08:31

Becca Eye Brightener is my favourite along with NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer.

I’ve stopped putting concealer under my eyes beyond the inner 1/3 of my eye “bag” - most people don’t need to & it congregates in your lines.

DonPablo · 14/12/2019 08:35

I use the mac one in a pot. I find I have to use a stronger colour. And how you apply I'd makes a difference. I pat it on and use a brush to blend it very gently once I've finished.

I like the CT wonder glow as a base, that seems to help make the lines smoother in the first place. And fixing spray to hold it all afterwards. My latest favourite is the hyaluronic one from revolution.

I use Clarins Instant Concealer too. Never creases or dries the skin out, but you do have to layer to get good coverage.

bluebell94 · 14/12/2019 08:52

Urban decay colour corrector in peach! I've always had dark circles and my wedding MUA used it and I love it! I also used urban decay concealer which goes on nice but actually prefer L'Oréal infallible more than concealer, gives me better coverage over the colour corrector Xmas Smile

Newbie1981 · 14/12/2019 08:54

The Mac one works for me

TableNiner · 14/12/2019 20:10

Agree if you have serious issues (like me!) you need a colour corrector then concealer.

LifeInAHamsterWheel · 16/12/2019 12:35

Wow thank you all for the suggestions - it's a pity there isn't one overall winner!! I suppose what works for one might not work for someone else but at least I have a few to try out now.

One of my colleagues staged an intervention recently that made me LOL, I can see one of my own colleagues doing this (it's the natural progression from the constant 'oh you look tired' comments isn't it!)

NARS creamy concealer is amazing. I have dark circles under my eyes too and this is the best I’ve tried. Good range of colours too

Annebronte · 16/12/2019 17:34

I have the same problem and find Bobbi Brown intensive serum concealer to be the best (I think that’s what it’s called...).
