Initial necklaces - just for the young(ish?)

I’m racking my brain to try come up with a present for a close friend. She has everything. I’m really stuck. I was thinking of an initial necklace (very small initial) but wondered if these are a bit of a young thing. She’s 65. She’s quite traditional in her taste (jaeger, Hobbs type of clothes). Is this a bad idea? TIA

My friend bought me one of these for my birthday this year and I can honestly say it was my favourite present! I wear it all the time. https://www.racheljacksonlondon.com/products/art-deco-initial-necklace-gold

What about a locket? There are some gorgeous ones on Etsy. Same for initial necklaces.

I love all of my Littlesmith necklaces, so much so that I have 6Blush

They have concessions them at Selfridges and Topshop Oxford street (possibly elsewhere too). However the quality is average (what you’d expect for a £30-£40 item).

I think initial necklaces are nice but only if the letter is smaller and the jewellery is of high quality.

I know someone who is 50 and wears one all the time. She has a rather unusual initial though - I should imagine it is quite a talking point with people she doesn't know!

I have one of the Rachel Jackson ones linked, but in silver. I love it and wear it all the time.

I’ve got one and I’m 40+
