Please help me with an outfit for Friday night drinks

I'm so out of practice at going out. It's works drinks, small town, so nothing too ott.

I'm 42, 5ft 7 and size 14/16. Bigger bottom half. I have a dress I 'll e and feel happy in but would feel incredibly out of place wearing it.

Is the skinny jeans, silky top, blazer look ok? And if so where can I find it for Friday? Or any other suggestions?

Or Sainsbury's or Tesco's.

Fake leather biker jacket will finish the look off if you can stretch to that.

The whole outfit can be worn casually too.

Thank.you, yes, next is a good call. I think my main problem is having to look at different styles than I'm used to, having gone up from a 10/12. And being older, and fatter, I do t feel I can wear what I'd automatically go to.

Order a load of stuff , it can all go back. You can try it on with your different shoes and accessories in your own space which is far less stressful and you won't have to guess what the complete outfit looks like.
