Reasonably priced skincare

I am trying to find a thread that was posted on here a few months ago about reasonably-priced beauty products. Someone recommended one that began with either 'B' or 'T' and I looked at the website thinking I'd order from them when I ran out of moisturiser. Of course now that I have done, I can't remember the name of the company.
Can anyone help?!

I find the aldi stuff fantastic - their eye cream is the best I have used.

Pieceofpurplesky · 10/12/2019 17:55

*serum not cream

Mummyonline · 11/12/2019 00:24

I know the Aldi stuff is great but it wasn't that. It looked amazing and began with B or T

@Mummyonline The Ordinary, Bioderma?

Other inexpensive brands are CeraVe, The INKEY list and Garden of Wisdom (from the Victoria Health website). All affordable and really great in my opinion.

Unlikely, but the superdrug B Pure range? I have their oil to milk cleanser, am surprised by just how good it has been!

halloumi2019 · 11/12/2019 15:12

The most popular cheap skincare brand is the ordinary in my opinion, perhaps the product name began with B or T?

halloumi2019 · 11/12/2019 15:13

I guess The Ordinary begins with T

Branster · 11/12/2019 15:33

Balance Active Formula?

AJTracey · 11/12/2019 18:16

Superdrug and The Ordinary

Mummyonline · 11/12/2019 19:56

Unfortunately none of the above but I may give The Ordinary a go as I'm always seeing it mentioned on here

Ohyesiam · 11/12/2019 20:06

I’ve used Elizabeth Arden, Clinique etc for years and many of The Ordinary products are equal or better.

Branster · 11/12/2019 20:19

Botanics? They sell it in Boots and is affordable...

What about Beauty Pie? I’m really intrigued about which brand it was! I love cheap skincare lol

Brideof2020 · 12/12/2019 19:47

Was it Tropic skincare range by any chance?

Mummyonline · 13/12/2019 00:56

As soon as I see it I will know the name. It was posted a few months ago with someone saying it had beautiful packaging and was really cheap and was so good.

I also recommend The Ordinary, great stuff at a very good price!

Mummyonline · 20/12/2019 00:56

I think I'm too scared to order from The Ordinary as I don't really understand all the acid stuff

The Inkey List (like TO but by Boots and actually better) is pretty good. It's available online or at certain Boots stores only.
