Any recommendations?

I've previously liked Mac Studio Fix Fluid, but it dries out my skin.

Despite having about a million shades, I can't find the correct EL Double Wear

Has anyone used Bobbi Brown long wear? Or YSL eclat?

Any other recommendations? About £35 max

apparently the primark one is amazing

CatToddlerUprising · 10/12/2019 11:15

Vichy Dermablend

lionroarr · 10/12/2019 11:15

Hmmm, can't imagine it being very long lasting throughout the day?

Oooh I've never seen that one before!

I had exactly the same problem with that MAC one. I now use Fenty and I will never use anything else ever again! People have actually commented on how good my skin looks. Highly recommend!

lionroarr · 10/12/2019 11:41

Ohhh I haven't ever used any Fenty products

I've only used the foundation but massively impressed. It lasts all day at work especially when I use a light bronzer over. It comes in a million shades so you get an excellent match so it just looks like your skin but better. You can get it in Harvey Nicks or selected boots. Once you've had it once and been colour matched you can just buy online after that.

lionroarr · 10/12/2019 14:51

I'm hoping the boots near me has it so I can test it, I don't live near a Harvey Nichols. Debenhams is usually my go to!

I love Lancôme's Teint Idole Ultra Wear foundation. It gives great coverage, is long lasting but not drying.

ebenezerscroogedmeover · 10/12/2019 15:48

I use make up revolution pro full coverage - it lasts all day for me and completely covers my VERY red and purple acne scars.
It's only about £8.

NanTheWiser · 10/12/2019 17:20

I'm using Dior's Forever Undercover - about £35, very good coverage, and plenty of shades, but would like to find something similar a little less expensive.

ClientListQueen · 10/12/2019 17:26

Makeup revolution works for me, I have drier skin so use the conceal and hydrate
Huda or fenty v good but not if you have dry skin in the slightest

MellowBird85 · 10/12/2019 17:28

I’m a bit of a foundation freak and the best I’ve ever used is Huda Faux Filter.

vaz119 · 10/12/2019 21:09

Dior forever undercover or fenty but I'm really lingering the new urban decay naked one

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 10/12/2019 21:11

I can't quite find the right DW shade either,so have started mixing it with another foundation and it works perfectly now.

Hayls17 · 10/12/2019 21:17

I now use the phoera one advertised on Facebook it’s only about £4 but is honestly amazing, I only ever used Clinique before that but I’ve thrown it away now as it was nowhere near as good as the phoera one! Lovely natural shade, stays all day and good coverage.

AgathaMystery · 10/12/2019 23:03

Armani power fabric.

It. Is. Amazing.

Miseryisabutterfly · 11/12/2019 07:19

I second Vichy dermablend (the compact). It’s great. I have some acne scarring and still get the occasional breakout, but I feel confident wearing this. I find a little goes a long way. I set it with the rimmel clear complexion translucent powder. Have tried more expensive ones but always go back to it!
