After seeing the what have you learnt this year thread I am seeking the wise wisdom of mumsnet to help with my skincare. I am mid 20's, I suffered with awful acne as a teenager so have some scarring but my problem seems to be with super deep huge painful spots I usually have 3-4 all the time on my cheeks and jawline. Currently using nip + fab extreme night pads which help but I've no idea what I'm doing or need to be doing. So can anyone reccomend a good cleanser, and moisturizer and anything else I may need? I struggle to find a moisturiser that doesnt just make my skin worse 😫

Use simple soap and warm water to wash your face, after a cleanser if you wear make up. Use an unscented moisturiser.
Don't use lots of different products.

Sudocrem is good for healing spots.

Watch your diet - it might be the cause of the acne.

I also suffered with quite bad acne.

The best moisturiser I found was Clinique Moisture Surge....its really light and makes your face glow (not greasy). Would 100% recommend.

Thanks for your replies, will give clinique a try and see how I get on, I only wear makeup for special occasions and it's not diet related so I think ik just destined to have bad skin 😫
