Windproof Umbrella recommendations please

I'm looking for a windproof umbrella for my mum and I don't mind paying more for one that will last. She has tried two of the vented ones, which didn't last long at all. Ideally, it needs to be lightweight, foldable and withstand strong wind, as she goes out walking whatever the weather. She has tried my Fulton Birdcage one, but it was far too heavy for her.

One I like the look of is the Blunt Metro, does anyone have any experience of this one?

Thank you.

Ahh - I came on to say the Fulton Birdcage. They're brilliant.

I don’t think you can get a completely windproof umbrella, I think they just market them as wind-resistant. I love my Totes extra strong umbrellas, I have two.

This one is amazing. It may as well be windproof as I have never had issues with any of the weather we’ve had over the past year. Has auto open/close mechanism. Only downside is that it’s massive & they don’t have a smaller version.

So I bought a small one that I keep in my handbag on other days, just in case. It’s not as strong as the other version but much better than standard umbrellas.

Thanks for the suggestions, these are all new ones to look into and hopefully one will be suitable!
