Sorel boots

Hello all,

Can anyone tell me about the sizing? Big, small, narrow?

I'm looking at the Ainsley boots

I work for a retailer that is a stockists of Sorel, however, not this particular style.

Overall, I find Sorel to be a large fit . They tend to do half sizes in most styles so if you are a 5 maybe go for the 4.5?

I find mine true to size.

Thank you. I'm normally a 6 in most shoes but occasionally in some narrow shoes I need a 6.5.

Mine are true to size. I have several pairs of Sorel boots and find them to be good quality.

I find them a little large, so I’d say if you’re in between go for the smaller one.

I have the Sorel Explorer Joan boots. All the reviews said to size up as they are fur lined. They are a tiny bit big on me but otherwise fab, so warm, so comfy. I have the grey ones.

@Paddingtonthebear did you size up as per the reviews or did you buy your normal size?

I’ve been looking at Sorels - are they good on snow & ice please?

I've heard they are good for ice & snow but no personal experience

I wore mine in a very icy, snowy Canadian city and they were brilliant. I didn't slip once! Mine are the Explorer Joan ones

I sized up, I bought a 6 instead of a 5, but to be fair I’m more between 4.5-5 generally so they are a little loose

I got the Joan ones and they are tiny. Half a size bigger isn’t enough, I had to go up a full size.

They come up a little large. I have a pair of fur lined waterproof ones which only get worn for about 10 days every year but they are SO snug and warm that they are worth every penny!

I LOVE Sorel boots. I would wear them every day if I hadn’t moved back to bloody Australia! They are the most comfortable things I have ever owned!!! I have three different Glacy boots, and wore them to death. I used one pair for dog walking and wore them every day for about four years. They are fab!
